How To Configure T-Mobile EDGE Internet for iPhone

How to enable T-Mobile Internet on an unlocked iPhone, iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS.
First you will need to add a data plan to your T-Mobile account. You can add T-Zones T-Mobile Web for $5.99 (this package is no longer available to add to new plans, it must've been added before). You can also one of the other data plans that T-Mobile offers.

Add these settings in Cellular Data Network in the APN field: wap.voicestream.com
or
internet2.voicestream.com
or
epc.tmobile.com

Leave username and password blank.

This is YouTouchIt.com episode 2:This video will guide your through setting up your iPhone 4, 3G S, and 3G on Simple Mobile Carrier with full MMS and Edge internet.

The reason the iPhone can not receive full 3G on Simple Mobile is because Simple is a T-Mobile MVNO: Mobile Virtual Network operator in other words they use T-Mobiles airwaves to provide the service and they run on different 3G frequencies. NOTE: Make sure that you phone is fully unlocked and 3G service is OFF on the phone.

Instructions:
Navigate to "Settings = General = Network = Then Cellular Data Network insert these settings bellow

Under Cellular Data:
APN: simple
Username: *Blank*
Password: *Blank*

Password: *Blank*
MMSC: http://smpl.mms.MSG.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
MMS Proxy: None
MMS Max Message Size: 307200 which is 300kb

all done now
The easy way is to add the Simple mobile Fix and the iPhoneDelivery package from cydia I personally didn't have a good experience with them but installed them anyway you can get the packages here

T-Mobile Receives iPhone?

T-Mobile could possibly be getting the iPhone? It could possibly be, the company has started selling an iPhone charger cord. Now before we jump to conclusions, this could be to cater towards those who are jailbroken iPhone users. It will be a waiting game until we find out what is really going on.

T-Mobile myTouch 4G "Digging"

Feel trapped? If you're trying to Facetime video chat on AT&T's network using an iPhone 4 the answer is probably yes.
You'd feel a lot more free if you had the new T-Mobile myTouch 4G, the phone that lets you video chat without using Wi-Fi on America's largest 4G network.
Watch and learn.
Video chat powered by Qik.
T-Mobile's 4G network, HSPA+, operates at today's 4G speeds; not available everywhere.
